Horse Hubby gives credit to the selflessness of the horse spouse in calendar form

Horse Hubby blog creator Timothy Harfield has once again perfectly captured the selflessness and creativity of the long-suffering horse husband – this time in calendar form.

These 12-month 2016 calendars are the result of Horsehubby.com’s first calendar contest in which readers’ submitted photos were chosen for their often humorous portrayals of the men who support the female riders they love.

“Horse Hubbies do the darndest things! They look super sexy cleaning stalls, and absolutely fabu-ridiculous when resting atop mighty steeds (or clinging desperately to the smallest of ponies),” according to the calendar’s description at its point of distribution, the Equibox Equestrian online store.

The calendar features hilarious-but-typical horse show images of husbands holding horses and baby strollers simultaneously, husbands bedecked in miscellaneous discarded tack and ribbons and even a husband posing by his tailgate with a sign reading “Horse husbands: need a drink?”

This true-to-life calendar will make a memorable gift that can be enjoyed all year by horse husbands and riders alike.
